EP-1
OBJECTIVES:
ep1
The consolidation of basic words, numbers and familiar objects.
To use basic expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.  
To talk in a one sentence very simple structure about colours, objects, location, numbers and concrete items around and familiar to the speaker.
To be able to write in handwriting the names of objects familiar at school, around the house and their surroundings known on a regular basis.
To produce sounds on a limited production level, being aware of sound changes between Spanish and English – e.g.: /p/
To be aware of inflectional endings of the “s” and the production of /z/ as a final sound for the inflectional “s” along with / IZ/ and /s/ when speaking about possession, plurals of objects of a concrete type and known to the speaker.


EP-2
OBJECTIVES:

ep2Consolidation of basic words, numbers and familiar objects. To use basic expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer basic questions about personal details such as where he/she lives.
To talk in a one sentence simple structure about possession and likes or dislikes, to express what is happening at the moment using limited vocabulary and verbs.
To be able to write in handwriting in one sentence structure using a basic level of language. To produce sounds on a limited level, being aware of sound changes between Spanish and English – eg: /p/
To be aware of inflectional endings of the “s” and the production of /z/ as a final sound for the inflectional “s” along with / IZ/ and /s/


EP-3

OBJECTIVES:
ep3
Consolidation of basic words, numbers and familiar objects. To use basic expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer basic questions about personal details, and abilities. To be able to talk about location using basic terms...
Asking about obligation and expressing temporary actions. Talking about the weather now and in the past. To talk about possession and owernership.The ability to express likes or dislikes.To be able to communicate what is happening at the moment. To understand the concept of past time and use the verb “to be” in simple past.An introduction to regular and irregular verbs in the concept of past time at a known time.
To be able to write in handwriting a narration of 4/5 sentences and simple informal letters. To produce sounds being aware of sound changes between Spanish and English – e.g.: /p/ /
To be aware of inflectional endings of the “s” and the production of /z/ as a final sound for the inflectional “s” along with / IZ/ and /s/
An awareness of the 3 sound endings for the regular verbs with “ed” endings.


EP-4
OBJECTIVES:

ep4Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
Can introduce him/her and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has.
Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
Can write a short, simple postcard, for example sending holiday greetings.
To be able to write short informal letters and e-mails.
Can fill in forms with personal details, for example entering my name, nationality and address on a hotel registration form.
To be able to communicate through interaction with another person in the basic aspects of past, present and future time.
Using the range of sounds easily comprehendible by speakers of the target language


EP-5
OBJECTIVES:

To understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areasep5
of most immediate relevance (e.g.  Basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
To be able to communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
To be able to describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
Using the range of sounds easily comprehendible by speakers of the target language.
Using intonation and rhythm to express ideas through the target sounds of language 2 with help and provision by native speakers.



EP-6
OBJECTIVES:

ep6Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance.
Eg. Basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.Can write short, simple notes and messages relating to matters in areas of immediate needs.
Can write a simple personal informal letter / email, in a variety of styles relating to the function being communicated, for example thanking someone for something...
Using the range of sounds easily comprehendible by speakers of the target language.
Using intonation and rhythm to express ideas through the target sounds of language 2 with some help by native speakers in decoding the message.
To become aware of the differences in connected rapid speech sound changes which is predominate in connected speech by native speakers.
